The working principle is based on the fact that when the concentration of sulfur hexafluoride () gas in the air changes, the ionization degree of the mixed gas under the action of a high-frequency electromagnetic field will vary accordingly. Thus, the concentration of sulfur hexafluoride can be reflected by detecting the ionization degree.
